Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and 18+ requirement

VYBE is only for adults aged 18 or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 and legally able to enter into these Terms. You must not use VYBE if you are under 18.

The website age gate and account confirmation are self-declarations. Any credit-card verification used for protected features is a separate access signal and is not proof of age or identity.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out through your account. Information you provide must not deliberately misrepresent your age, identity or another person. You may not create an account for someone else without lawful authority.

3. Profiles and location

Member profiles are created by members. VYBE may require a profile photo and basic profile information before a profile can be shown in Discover. Use only a city, town or approximate area for location. Do not publish a home address or exact coordinates in your profile.

Homepage preview portraits are fictional interface examples and are not presented as real members.

4. Discovery, likes and matches

VYBE is UK-wide. Approximate area, activity and preferences may be used to rank Discover results. A mutual match is created when two eligible members like each other. VYBE does not guarantee matches, replies, availability or compatibility.

5. Protected member actions

Some actions, including liking, matching, messaging and purchasing credits, may require successful credit-card verification. VYBE currently accepts only cards identified by the payment provider as credit cards for this access step; debit and prepaid cards may be rejected.

6. Message credits and payments

Reading messages is free. One credit is deducted for each successful outgoing message. Credit packs are one-time purchases and do not start a recurring subscription. Prices and pack sizes are shown before purchase.

Payments are processed through Stripe. VYBE does not directly store full payment-card details. Credits are added after the signed payment confirmation is received and processed. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Safety and prohibited conduct

You must not harass, threaten, scam, impersonate, exploit or deliberately mislead other members; solicit minors; post unlawful content; or use VYBE for conduct that creates a safety risk. Do not share another person’s private information without permission.

Members can block and report accounts. VYBE may investigate reports and may pause, suspend or remove accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, security, abuse prevention or compliance.

8. Content you provide

You remain responsible for content you upload or send. You must have the right to use that content. You give VYBE the limited permission needed to host, display, process and transmit it to operate the service.

9. Availability and changes

VYBE may change, maintain or temporarily interrupt parts of the service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Material changes to these Terms should be reflected by updating this page and its revision date.

10. Ending use of VYBE

You may stop using the service at any time. VYBE may restrict or end access where these Terms are breached, where there is a safety or security concern, or where required by law. Account and data handling is also subject to the Privacy Notice.

11. Governing context

These Terms are intended for the VYBE service offered in the United Kingdom. Mandatory rights and protections that apply under applicable law continue to apply.
